“Today’s plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, is a terrible tragedy,” U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote on X.
He said everyone on board was killed.
CNN reported that storms were in the area at the time of the crash, though it is not yet known whether the weather contributed to the accident.
The website noted that the crash site is about 6.5 km (about 4 miles) south of the airport in West Palm Beach, where President Donald Trump had been earlier Sunday. He left aboard Air Force One a little over an hour before the crash. (PAP)
