Midterm elections will be held in the United States next Tuesday, Nov. 3. In many states, including Illinois and Chicago itself, voters can already take part through so-called early voting.
Polling places in Chicago are open in all 50 wards. As of Sunday, Oct. 25, exactly 67,914 voters had cast ballots in person through early voting in Chicago, and 58,435 mail-in ballots had been returned. In this year’s election, 240,723 Chicago voters requested mail-in ballots.
