Time is running short before the Nov. 3 election. More than 660,000 ballots have already been cast in Colorado. The next key deadline is Monday, Oct. 26.
Voters must register by Oct. 26 to receive a mail ballot. That is also the last recommended day to send a ballot back by mail. After that, it is better to return it in person to make sure it arrives on time.
Completed ballots can be left at one of more than 450 drop boxes across the state or at one of more than 380 voter centers. Those who miss the Monday registration deadline can register in person at a polling place and vote right away.
Ballots must reach the office no later than 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. On Election Day, polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can look up their polling place and the status of their ballot at GoVoteColorado.gov.
