“When we found out about our little Iga’s condition during the birth, we felt the situation was simply very, very bad,” says Katarzyna Czerniak of Lublin, whose daughter is now among the families helped by the Small Big Hearts Foundation in Dallas, which is marking its 10th anniversary.
