The Polish Film Festival North America opens Nov. 6 and will show Polish films in 14 U.S. locations, with the most screenings at the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge, near Chicago. Tickets are on sale, and the opening gala features the U.S. premiere of “Lalka.”
Oscar-winning production designer Allan Starski tells PAP he does not want a dehumanized world in which AI makes films with generated actors. He hopes human relationships, the foundation of cinema, will save the art form.
