Early voting is underway in Connecticut ahead of the Nov. 3 election. Locations are open daily through Sunday, Nov. 1, with longer hours on Tuesday and Thursday.
Early voting began Monday, Oct. 19, and will run for 14 days. On most days, locations are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 29, voting is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voting takes place at specially designated sites, usually one in each municipality. They may differ from Election Day polling places, so it is worth checking the address at MyVote.CT.gov.
The deadline for regular registration passed Oct. 16, but those who missed it can register and vote on Election Day at a designated location in their town. Requests for a mail-in ballot can be made until Nov. 2. On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
