During Thursday’s game between the Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots, fans at Soldier Field were able to drop off mail-in ballots and register to vote. The election will be held Nov. 3, though early voting is already underway.
The Chicago Bears partnered with the Cook County Clerk’s Office to provide a secure drop box at Soldier Field for ballots sent by mail. Fans with completed ballots could place them in the box on the South Plaza, near the exhibit honoring the late Chicago Bears legendary coach Mike Ditka, who died recently.
In the United Club area, representatives of the Cook County Clerk’s Office staffed an information table where people could register to vote and get information about early voting, mail-in voting and other ways to cast a ballot in the 2026 midterm elections.
Early voting is currently open at 56 locations across Cook County and in all 50 Chicago wards, as well as at two main polling sites downtown.
