Industrial Park Planned Near Głogów

Must read

The Głogów Agglomeration Industrial Park is being prepared in the Głogów municipality. It is ultimately expected to cover about 650 hectares, Radio Wrocław reported Tuesday.

About 500 hectares belong to KGHM, the Polish copper company. The company will decide whether to use the land itself or hand it over to an outside investor. The remaining 150 hectares or so have also been designated for investment.

Przemysław Bożek, deputy head of the Głogów municipality, compared the scale of the project to the area of towns such as Międzybórz and Wleń. The local government has already applied for a building permit for the main access road, which will lead toward Grodziec Mały.

The site is to be fully equipped with utilities. Water and sewer mains are being built on commission from the Kotla municipality.

Several companies have expressed interest, but their names have not been disclosed. According to the deputy head, talks are ongoing, and no investment has yet begun.
